The Social Sites a place for jotting all the precious times of our lives,
It leaves me to wonder every time,
“Where the Socially Erratic, Socially Impaired and Ambiverts fit in”?
They too are people, mystical souls,Β untouched by the social media syndrome,
As the best moments in their life shine bright in their memories,
And have not been lived and shared online.
P.S.: Just leaves me to wonder about the exceptions. This is not against anyone. It is a great thing to be socially active as it is a huge platform of expression.
That "not so social" author. An Alpha by sight but a lone wolf by right. Eternally and Devastatingly romantic. Not 'sugary' but dark and tormented. A furore of passion and the despair of an idealism not realised. An Ambivert; my calm demeanour hides the raging storm of emotions inside. A Freelance Writer; expressing emotions through words.

I am in favour of sites like WordPress, but not warts and all media like Facebook!
Thankyou. I find it catchy… so the phrase ‘Erratic’ as I am on again and off again on social media sites. I haven’t cancelled but I rarely reply and have a nearly negligible presence. Haha!
I understand you perfectly. I am this close to canceling my FB and Linkedin account… π
But WordPress has given me a lot. So I will probably stay.
Have a lovely, erratic week-end. π
Yeah WordPress has given many people a lot so I am also definitely staying. But yes I will remain erratic on the rest of the sites. π
I sure will. π Hope you enjoy the weekend too.
Good to hear.
Have a nice week.
To wonder is good! Anything which makes us wonder, we should be thankful of! Letβs pay back… π
Undoubtedly we should be thankful. And Yes we should pay back. Especially if we can do that by observing our environs, using our thoughts and weaving them into words. π
Living in the moment and connecting with people face-to-face will always be more fulfilling than ‘likes’ and online chats. Why ruin a beautiful moment by stopping to take 5 million selfies of it?
Great post.
I agree. The likes and chats have started to define us and interpersonal communication is a lot less these days. The selfies are a way of capturing memories but the mind is the place where they forever are and it’s the soul that lives them. No amount of selfies can give back the same feel we had living a particular moment.
It’s a person’s own perspective. Not everybody garners happiness by documenting their precious memories on the social media. Many prefer to store these memories inside their heads rather than storing them by capturing them. But as I said each person has his or her own opinion. πΈ

Same here even though I am not a regular on WordPress too.
Socially erratic? π Like that. (I have been thinking of canceling some of my social accounts actually…)
Cheers.

Very well said π
Happiness is when we lived the moment and documented the memories on social media….
Its not wen we documented something and then tries to live that moment…. π
